Fabulous! Hannigan's covers with Janson during this period were some of the most electrifying and striking. Janson adds the great texture and energy to the definitive images the Hannigan provided. When an element of the art intrudes into the logo, you have to guess Hanningan's name.

Dino this cover is absolutely stunning. It's everything one would want in a Thor cover. The comments at the bottom makes it even more special. Congratulations!

Oh dude, this one FLOORS me!! Just the immense power that Thor is showcasing. And isn't that JUST how us mere mortals would react if we saw such a regal & commanding being standing there amidst an awe-inspiring display of lightning. "Iconic" is definitely the right word to describe the cover that Hannigan and Janson created here. Major congrats!!!

What a powerful piece, for sure but the secondary detail of the background is mind-boggling! I would not have wanted to ink that!!! Great piece, Dino!!

Lightning bolt! Lightning bolt! Methinks Hannigan brought down the hammer with this cover. What a perfect Thor layout. And Janson was picking up what Ed was putting down, and brought the gravitas inks. That whiteout lightning is an excellent choice. This was one of my favorite covers, too. Big congrats!

Certainly among the best 80s Thor cover, so powerful! Always hard to portray lightning in comics but Hannigan and Janson nailed it to dramatic effect. Another winner Dino!

Congrats, Dino! I'm liking that sratchier kind of look here...a little looser with the brush but deliberately to provide a strong organic look for the strong central figure. And your fave early '80s Thor cover?! Win! Congrats again, buddy!

Stunner of a cover! One of the best Thor covers of the '80s! Love the majestic pose of Thor here, drawing lightning bolts from the sky! Ed Hannigan and Klaus Janson bring a strong sense of grandeur to the God of Thunder! It's a phenomenal cover!
