DescriptionClassic Trimpe Hulk cover shows Hulk smashing a weapon of mass destruction built by his arch-villain, the Leader. Reprinting the classic story "No More the Monster!" from Incredible Hulk #123 (1970), this all-new Trimpe cover has even more HULK SMASHING!“Still Only 35 cents” period (late 70s) is a highly nostalgic time in my Marvel Comics reading, and a favorite era of my OA collecting. Cool storyline...The Leader uses his superior mind powers to levitate a top-secret weapon called a Tripodal Observation Module (aka TOM) positioned in the sky. When the transport module breaks and begins to plummet to the Earth, Bruce Banner changes into the Hulk, saves the driver, smashes the TOM and foils the Leader's diabolic plans once again. Great cover and I like that Trimpe changed it from the original so that Hulk can smash puny Leader!

They loved this story so much that they made the controversial Marvel Mania Hulk Poster out of it.

Ooh, I like this one SO much more than the Hulk #123 cover! MUCH rather see Hulk doing the smashing than being the smashed one himself. And Leader looks a lot better too. Classic ccover image, congrats !!!

A bit before my time but that doesn't mean I can't dig it...and I do! Great energy. Dynamic...just an in-your-face cover! The Hulk vs one of his main baddies in a classic mano y mano image. Congrats, Dino!

A beautiful cover Dino! I've always liked these Marvel 70's-era reprint books since in many cases they were my introduction the classic Marvel characters. This is a great one. Congrats to you!
