DescriptionMy all-time favorite Thor cover by Romita/Sinnott brings nostalgia overload! I can't imagine a more iconic and defining portrait of Thor than this...a powerful, majestic image of the Thunder God soaring over Asgard and the Rainbow bridge. Oversize art measuring 13" x 19". Many thanks to Andrew V. for the opportunity to own this treasure!

Chilhood memor yof my dad buyingt this treasury for me when I was seven years old. One of the greatest covers ever by two of our very best artists.

I'm nearly speechless. Remember seeing these Treasury Editions on laying on the lowest shelf of the magazine racks? Seeing a cover like this one was a highlight of my youth. This is incredible in every way.

looks even better in B and W. This is a keeper. I sometimes separate the art on CAF in my mind into top 10%, top third, etc. This is a top 10 percent piece. Very nice.

How could I have not commented on this piece before now? What an absolute gem. The beauty of these Treasuries was that you couldn't really store them properly so damned if the things didn't get read and read and read and read. I remember this one fondly. Stunning.

That is a beautiful cover! I was suprised when you said it was "oversized" since it seems like a lot of treasury art is actually reduced in size for some reason. So glad this is big - it deserves to be!!!!

I know Kirby is known as the premier Thor artist. But IMO Thor was never done better than by Romita on this cover! And the bright red background on the cover really made the image pop. This was my first introduction to Thor as a kid and this cover brings back a lot of memories. Congrats Dino!

What a classic beautiful cover! I've got 4 copies of this book in my man cave. Joe's inks always make anyone's pencils glow, but what a bonus that it's over John Romita himself!

Ah, the memories these Treasure editions invoked... was always very excited to see a new one pop up on the stands, even for the outrageous price of $1.50. Was an early opportunity to read back issues.
