DescriptionPurchased in SD from Richard French, who had tears in his eyes when he sold it to me. As I said to Bruce Lowry at the time, it jumps out and rises above the sea of sameness that a lot of the other art blends into. It still does.Social/Sharing |

Andy, this Kirby piece is amazing. It definitely stands out as one of the better Kirby DPS's out there. I'm jealous!

This is about 100,000 watts of "there's nobody like Kirby!"

Saw this for sale at Comicon in the late 90's. Came back to buy it the next day and it was gone... Guess you're the lucky guy who beat me to it. Royer inked it, no question. But I thought I remembered "Toxl the World Killer" being lettered in the open space at top?

But I did not purposely obscure it - that's just the result of a crappy photo.

All Kirby originals do... there is something different about them. I've only owned a couple of his pages and the least of them jumps off the page, the best of them captivates you for hours... congrats, Andy!

It would "jump out and rise above" even more if you posted a bigger scan. It's the very least this beauty deserves.

The 15 year old scan is a bit dated, but it's framed. Maybe I'll do one in the next ten years :)
