Description

"...WHERE BOUND'RIES ....DECAY" - Dr. Strange meets Death.

Look at the direction of the spirals (including Strange's cloak) in the first 3 diagonal panels of the page and the way they reverse in the final one.

The colors by Linda Lessman do add quite a bit to the image in the published page. Badly damaged but couldn't pass up on this beautifully designed page by Brunner. I've seen some suggestion on the web that Neal Adams had a hand in some of the inks but it's Brunner who is the star here.

And for that very brief moment in Marvel history, what a brilliant star he was. It's a wonderful page, imaginative in design and stylish in execution.

Gorgeous psychedelic Brunner page. Something very cool about seeing Doc with a winged horse! Whatever damage there is, it doesn't seem evident to me...
