DescriptionI loved the entire New X-Men run, and Marc Silvestri's work on the final storyline "Here Comes Tomorrow" provided such an incredible end to the series. It is with great joy that I add this page to my growing collection of New X-Men pages-- it's a great one, featuring Tom Skylark, some future "new mutants", Eva, and a statue of Charles Xavier! Everyone at www.marcsilvestriart.com is a joy to deal with-- thank you for making this transaction so easy!Social/Sharing |

Silvestri drew these 4 issues with an intensity rarely seen in comicbook storytelling these days, He brought so much drama and atmosphere to the script that the story crackled with excitement the way few comics have in the past decade. It's his very best sequential work as far as I'm concerned.

Seeing Silvestri's new characterizations of old, familiar X-stuff was riveting, while at the same time serving to put the reader off-balance. A broken-down Sentinel as defender of humankind! Cassandra Nova as leader of the X-Men! Beak and Angel's grandson Tito, a badass 6-foot tall falcon! Fantomex's old UFO as a sexy robot! Evil perversions of Henry McCoy and Kurt Wagner! And of course Wolverine looking exactly the same :)

I can't think of another artist, not even X-Men icons jim Lee or john Byrne imbuing the characters especially Rover with so much humanity. I started to tear up a few times. 16 years later I still feel this is one of the best stories I've read and Silvestri's Magnum opus

That first panel is just so poignantly and intricately handled. It's a great example of the full arsenal that Marc brought to bear on this storyline. Kudos, Doc!

I may be wrong, but Silvestri's talent is on par with the other Image guy....too bad Marc has done little interior work. His work on NXM was just stellar
