I got to meet Eric Canete at the Baltimore Comic Con in 2009. He spoke with me about his animation background, which explained to me why his work is so. . . kinetic. . . I chose this piece over several other great ones simply because it's so moving. Thanks, Eric!

The sense of motion in this clever depiction of Ichabod and the Headless Horseman is wonderfully conceived. Eric is one of my absolute favorite artists and visual composers. I've never seen a subpar piece from him, and every commission and convention sketch he churns out is a true work of art. This is no exception. Big props, Doc!
