Description

As well as being the Master of the Macabre, Wrightson is also a master of portraiture. The construction of this page, when Lieutenant Lloyd Klimpt and the Ghoul meet, makes us feel the Ghoul's gigantism and monstrous side in just a few words, and through the expressions on the faces that come closer to us.

Even though it's the smallest image of the Ghoul, the second panel is the best with the fingers going through the window first to inform us of the size difference. It's more for emphasis in the big center panel which Wrightson concentrates more on the faces.
