Description

Some long overdue posts. I've been eyeing this piece ever since it was first released eons ago. I still think his run on New Avengers is the best work Leinil's done. He had some epic double page splashes during his run, and I was lucky that this was still available so long after.

Picked up from Kwan Chang at SGTCC 2014. Awesome, friendly guy to deal with, picked up a few pieces from him over the years.

WOW! In retrospect, it's hard to see how Leinil was kept on the book for as long as he was, after phoning it in on pages like this... :P

Kidding! I am in absolute agreement with you on all points; his run on this book was a high water mark on a title frankly littered with high water marks. This arc was definitely a "I remember exactly where I was when I read that!" arc, weaving darkness and paranoia together beautifully and SO effectively as the Skrull net closed around our heroes; only matched by Jonathan Hickman's awesome Avengers & New Avengers runs, leading up to Secret Wars.

Exquisite pick up; sincere congratulations and thank you for sharing it with us here, for us all to enjoy!
