This is a grail by anybody's measure. Absolutely stunning page from a time when Fantastic Four were the preeminent team in comics; Byrne was right at the top of his game.

Terrific! Didn't Townsend used to own this? What was that knucklehead thinking letting this go? =D

Amazing example of prime Byrne FF. Only obvious it had to end in your collection. Congratulations!

If you ever had to have a Byrne FF page or art how on earth could anyone top this?

What a beautiful slash, one of my favorite Byrne images. It's staggering how gifted he is, and the icing on top of the cake is his mudball Thing! Congratulations!

Couldn't agree more about this splash being one of the best examples of the "joy, fun and adventure" that Byrne brought to the series. Great add to your collection.

There was a time when John Byrne took over FF and wanted to show the world that he was not just a hot artist, but was trying to create a great legacy, comparable to the legendary FF run of Lee and Kirby. Pages and stories like this one are a testament to that legacy. Congratulations on a spectacular acquisition.

Better than a lot of covers, nobody got the Inhumans better than Byrne (after Kirby)!
