DescriptionThis is the original presentation/concept art used to help pitch the design of the Dusty and Sandstorm figure to Hasbro execs in charge of the GI Joe line. It was done by an outside studio and the finished painting was completed by Dave Dorman, who did a fair bit of presentation art for Hasbro at the time.This piece kills two birds with one stone for me, as i've been after a Dorman presentation piece for a while and it fits in with a prototype "run" i have for the character. In the additional photo you can see the assembled run which includes the packaging art, the Dorman presentation art, the proof card for the packaging, the hardcopy figure prototype, the production figure MOC and the original Larry Hama typed dossier for the filecard. AMAZING run Shane! I've always been a fan of Dorman's art, and this is no exception. I dig Sandstorm's pose in the presentation art. Even more menacing than the production art IMO. Very cool! HUGE congrats!

A presentation piece would be great on its own, the fact that it is beautifully created by Dave Dorman makes it even better.

Mucho respecto. Dorman is great and a pre production Joe piece just rawks.
