Description

These are smaller Harvey digest cartoons usually about 6 by 8 inches in size and often with no gag line because those were added later by writers in the office and stripped off after printing so the cartoon might be used with another gag later on!

Gene Rowls was out of the North Side of Chicago and mainly worked the lower end markets- thsi deals with the common fear of soldiers overseas that they would not have a wife or girlfriend when they returned
