Description

Dave Cockrum was working on a Cyclops and Phoenix commission for me before he passed away. This is the first preliminary sketch he created for it. Dave didn't like how it was shaping up. He felt that it looked like Scott was goosing Jean! So he put it aside and as going to start over. Sadly Dave's condition became worse and he never got to work on this again. Paty Cockrum was very sweet and sent me this piece. It's sad to think that we will never see new art from such a legendary artist again.
