Description

An interesting little strip, published between 1951-1953, Jeanie never really took off even with outstanding art by Gil Fox and writing by Selma Diamond.

Gil Fox is a known commodity in good girl art but, for me, that attraction was Selma Diamond.

Diamond was a prolific comedic writer in Hollywood and is probably best known for her role as Selma Hacker, baliff, in the 1980s sitcom, Night Court.

I have to assume this was also printed in 1952 because the copyright fell off.

Of note, it's hard to choose which strip I like better. The park scene here is great but so is the maid outfit in the other strip. Tough call.
