DescriptionThis scene was a highlight for me in my run on Daredevil. Dan Chichester is a big reason for that. We worked together choreographing the climatic chase scene through Port Authority. Between all the photos Dan shot and my own frequent passes through there, it became one of the more grounded fight scenes I've ever worked on.This particular page might also be -- for me -- the best scripting from Dan. Loved it! And, of course, there was the great Al Williamson putting the delicious finish on everything. Social/Sharing |

From this page, I remember the first panel very well: there was an incredible interaction between script and art (what a great idea justify the presence of the cameras in DD perceptions through the noise of the zoom). Even the position of captions contributed to the movement of the scene. And in the following panels, there is a great dynamics created by the proximity of the wide scene and the following close ups. And, you are very right when you say that the script was great. I bet that Mr. Chichester had clearly in mind to echo the famous page from Born Again where Kingpin regrets to have shown to Murdock that "A man without hope is a man without fear" - panic is now the perfect payback for his cold cruelty. A combined edition of Born Again and Last Rites would make perfect sense, it would make a great read!

Not sure that I can add anything more than what Lorenzo has already stated, so I'll simply say, "AWESOME!"
