DescriptionAnnuals are, for the most part, not great stories. They're often not in continuity, not by the normal art team, and in some cases, left over filler stories that finally found a place to be printed.

Great Iron Man and sexy Janet Van Dyne images, and truly amazing Mystique renderings. Great stuff!

There's just something about these AVengers Annual 10 pages by Golden that just feel so crazy alive-- they burst with energy! There is no looking away!

What is it about Annuals? If you're a Kevin Nowlan fan, it was the Batman & The Outsiders Annual. If you're a Byrne fan, it was his Hulk Annual. If you're a Jim Starlin fan, it was his two-part Avenger Annual #7 and Marvel Two-In-One Annual #2. And if you're an Art Adams fan, well, take your pick. But if you're a Michael Golden fan, then Avengers Annual #10 is probably your bible. Really you can't go wrong with any single page from this fabulous issue. Congrats on scoring such an amazing example!

This issue is undoubtedly one of the most influential single comic books in Marvel history . You may even argue that most late '80s and '90s artists were inspired by it one way or another . Historical and beautiful

Milestone issue made so much more desirable by Michael Golden's art! It's not a bad thing that Annuals were made for guys who wouldn't be able to carry the workload of a regular series because of how elaborate the art was getting. I guess Golden paved the way for Art Adams in more than one way.

Jealous. While I concede I have some MICRONAUTS, I would love a page from AVENGERS ANNUAL 10, DR STRANGE 55, or STAR WARS 38. Out of reach now.
Comic book royalty. A jewel in the crown.

This was such a perfect moment for Golden and such a great story for him to work on. Love every page but this one is really good.

Outstanding page, with some really great history in this book. Mystique on the lower right panel is absolutely Golden, in many ways. Cheers!
