Description

As long as I am on a "Josh Howard" Marathon, it might as well end with my best Josh Howard page. This is the great last page, splash page from The Lost Books of Eve #1:4. This page actually became the cover for the collected trade paperback as well. I first met Mr. Howard at San Diego Comic Con in 2007. I was walking around the artists alley, and noticed a few of these pages. The main reason I purchased themt (besides the price and partial nudity), was they reminded me of the art by that guy who does "Dead@17". Turns out, the reason it reminded me of the art by that guy who does "Dead@17" is, it was by that guy who does "Dead@17", Josh Howard. Mr. Howard (calling Mr. Howard, Mr. Fine, Mr. Howard), is know for creating his own style of comic art now know as "Cute Girl", which as far as I am concerned, represent the way an indie girl comic should look. Dead@7 is like Buffy the Vampire Slayer taken to the extreme (if that is possible). Lilith (previous page) is the first vampire and Queen of Purgatory in the Howardverse, as he combines his Dead@17 and Lost Books of Eve series in his latest installment, Dead@17: The Witch Queen. That's enough for now, next up, Oh what a tangled web..yadayadayada...
