Description

This is the cover to Supergirl #55—an issue which marks the first appearance of Bizarro Girl in the comics. This was all during the beloved run by writer Sterling Gates and artist Jamal Igle.

Just recently Bizarro Girl appeared in the new Supergirl TV series and it’s based on this design, which Jamal Igle came up with.

In addition, this is the very first of the Supergirl covers I drew for the series. I tried to make it feel like a funhouse mirror room. One of my favorites!

This was penciled by me and inked by Richard Friend, on DC art board (about 11x17 inches), at 150% print size.

i absoutely love this cover. im jealous of whoever purchased it. at least next time Amy logs in to caf. she gets to see some one taking time to comment appreciation for her works.
