DescriptionWolverine and Hulk commissionby Humberto Ramos June 2010 It's day two and I have two artists on my list. Humberto Ramos is one of them and I am determined to catch him. I find Humberto's table and I am excited to see him settling in and ramping up for his first sketch. I get in line behind about 8 other people and get settled. The convention staff periodically move the line as it continues to grow over the 2 and half hours I was there. It was a long and tiring morning but WELL WORTH the wait. Humberto blew me away with this piece and the fact that he did it in under 30 minutes blows my mind. He seems like an all around great guy that truly appreciates his fans that were waiting in the line. Many thanks to Humberto and to Mike (from Orlando) for helping make the wait go faster while we talked and assisted the Heroes staff with line control :) I was able to snap a few pictures with my phone while Humberto was drawing this piece! A very nice and interesting recreation of one seminal moment of comics history. Well done and well worth the wait!

the best part about this terrific piece... is Wolverine's expression. It says... "this is not gonna feel good"

I agree with Matt; there's so much happening in this scene. I love Humberto ... I was just wondering to myself how he learned ... how he became such an individual as an artist. There are people imitating him but, there's no one like him. And it speaks volumes about his character that he would take the time to put this much love into a convention sketch pin-up for a fan.
