Description

A few years ago I asked Neil Vokes to do the Origin of Dr Strange for me, you can see his wonderfull version elsewhere in my CAF. Earlier in the year I was talking with Smitty about his take on the origin. He got to do a version in Dr strange #56 but I felt it was time to see another take. With approptiate respect to Sturdy Steve Ditko and Stan The Man Lee, here is Smittys Origin of Dr Strange !

Love the story, love the gorgeous inks, love the humorous tip of the cap to Stan & Steve, love the hand drawn logo, and I love that CAF allows you to share this unpublished gem with the rest of us! Congratulations sir!

A real joy to behold. Paul Smith is one of a handful of artists who should be the only artists permitted to draw Dr. Strange. Bravo!
