I am very excited to own an early Jim Cheung cover from the 12-issue Maverick series. This cover features Maverick taking on the Blob! Many thanks to Jim for parting with this cover. I added a 'digital' overlay in the picture above for reference.

I like the light-hearted approach that Jim used on this cover. The cross-hatching is used to great effect as well. Very nice, George!
