Description

Though I have always viewed 100 Bullets as an original series, this scene conveys a sense of d�j� vu. It is a tribute to the noir genre and to two related characterizations: the private detective and the femme fatale.

Milo is the worthy heir of Sam Spade and Philip Marlowe, a hard-boiled private with cold detachment while Echo is ready to use her sexual attractiveness to reach her goals.

Out of the 100 Bullets art I own, this one is really special and is a good example of synergy between Azzarello's brilliant lines and Risso's art.

NFS, in this instance, really means NFS.

Great, great page, with fantastic shot of Echo and great lines by Azzarello. I had the whole issue in my hands and when Enrico told me this page (along with the next page) is already sold it broke my heart. And it is still broken despite some great new pages by Eduardo which landed in my collection. Congrats on this one, really a great page, and if you ever decide to let it to, please let me know..

I love this page. It has a beautiful chick, an awesome display of panels, and wonderful use of blacks for shadows. Wonderful sample from a modern-classic series.

A perfect 100 Bullet's page. Great images by Risso. Great atmosphere and dialogue. As part of a sequence or as a stand alone piece, it works on so many levels.
