DescriptionAbsolutely LOVE this piece. It evokes strong emotion and gives some background to an important aspect of the Spider-man mythos with a single image. Simply fantastic! Here's what Mr. Hughes had to say about it when he posted it on DeviantArt: Pencil, PITT Pen, COPIC Marker, white paint, and Berol Prismacolor colored pencil on 11" X 14" Strathmore Drawing paper "From MidOhioCon. Some young lady, dressed as Gwen Stacy, asked for a Gwen Stacy sketch for her boyfriend, who is named Adam. I felt like I was in INCEPTION. I was going to write "I felt like I was in an Escher drawing" but I want to be perceived as hip. I think this Gwen looks like Lisa Kudrow, which was NOT my intention. I'm the King of Accidental Likenesses." Social/Sharing |

Such a great piece. Just when you think Adam has done every possible version of a character ...

Wow... That might be the best of the Copic "sketches" he's done. And that's saying something.
