Description

I have been a huge fan of Alex's work since his landmark run on Daredevil, and I was very lucky to arrange for this stunning Gambit commission to be produced during NYCC 2010 (even though I couldn't make it).

I usually try to get artists to do different things rather than just go for the obvious characters, and my collection was sorely missing a Gambit, which is why I went for the Cajun X-Man. It certainly exceeded my expectations! (I would however one day love to own a Maleev Spider-Woman - I'm still gutted that the recent series was so shortlived.)

Thanks so much to Mr. Maleev for creating this awesome piece, and to Anthony Snyder for arranging it.

This piece is amazing. I like your Gambit a lot more than mine. You can tell that he had a good time drawing this. Congrats, I'm jealous of it!

Great choice! This is one of the best Maleev commissions I've seen.
