DescriptionWonderful Superman VS Brainiac page. Could have gone for some of the others from this issue but felt this one had a lot of power. Also I can be a 'simple brute' when I need to be too.Social/Sharing |

Excellent value for $280 ! Brainiac is finally himself again since Curt Swan left off. Yeah, I was watching the auction. I should have put in a bid when I had the chance. Congratulations.

A very impressive page. Gary Frank may well be this era's Curt Swan.

I totally agree with Timothy. My desire to own a Gary Frank Superman page is second only to my desire to own a Curt Swan Superboy page!

If you are going to have one battle page from the now classic Johns/Frank run on Action, this page where Superman is in mid battle with Luthor is a good one to have.

But your right. THis was the page to get. I could have gone for one of the heroic splashes or something but this is more powerful in it's simplicity.

As always, fantastic work by Gary Frank & Jonathan Sibal! It's nice seeing Superman bringing some "street smarts" to the battle.Agreed. You always feel that Superman holds back a little because he's SO powerful. Nice to see him go all out.

!!! POW !!! This page is FANTASTIC!!! :-)Yep. Very glad I was able to get it. Was a little afraid I was going to lose the auction. I imagine that it will be more popular with the new animate movie comes out.

I think you chose a great Frank page. That splash panel is top notch and Gary captures some great facial close ups for the observer to interpret.
