Description

HUGE PROMOTIONAL PAINTING (circa 1980s) to promote the launch of the ex-Charlton characters under the DC banner. Finished artwork is by John Higgins (painting over Pat Broderick's pencils). Originally, these characters were to form the basis for Alan Moore's WATCHMEN series . . . only Dick Giordano nixed the idea!
