Description

I read on Scott's blog that he had donated this piece to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation which raises money for kids with autism. Since it was only about an hour from my house I checked it out. Also I'm huge fan of Scott's and really wanted a color piece. The fundraiser also included a screening of the new Batman movie, during which I kept sneaking out to make sure I had the high bid. I was very happy to win such a beautiful piece of art at the end of the night.

Jim Mahfood and Jo Chen also contributed to the auction. I didn't win either of those but it's great to see such talented artists making contributions to charity.

On rare occasions, comic art rises to the level of fine art. This is one of those times. Brilliant!!
