Description

Copic marker, colored pencil, ink, and acrylic paint on 9×12 drawing paper.

For patrons, who have been receiving ongoing behind-the-scenes updates on this piece*, I completed the hair and ivy in Copics and colored pencils, but then came
back behind myself and using a number of acrylics – greens, browns, yellows, blues and reds – added richer highlights to the leaves across the piece and added depth and dimension to the crazier tangles in her hair. Also note the splashes of small Ivy added in acrylic on top/behind the uppermost skulls. A small touch that adds additional depth don’t you think? I matched the color in the paint to the mixed
Copics pretty well too. Haven’t lost my touch just yet I suppose!
