Description

This Titans cover which we used as a template comes from a powerful storyline that featued Jericho as a traitor hunting down and killing teamates just seemed tailor-made for a Legion version of a " traitor within their ranks." Nemesis Kid ( that name should have been a BIG clue to the members) joins the Legion on the same day as Ferro Lad, Karate Kid and Princess Projectra. He is a double agent and to avoid suspicion he frames Karate Kid as the traitor. Of course he is defeated but many years later on in a classic Legion of Super-Villians tale, he killed Karate Kid on Orando and then he in turn was exceuted by Projectra, who snapped his neck before her fellow Legionnaires.. So they are all interwined together in life and death and this cover image seemed a cool way of highlighting the tangled web. . Trevor Von Eden was kind enough to ink and design a cool logo on Heubert Khan's lovely pencils.I included the original pencils in the additional images section.I know that Supergirl was not included in the original two-part tale but I just couldn't resist adding her to the mix. And it ALWAYS good to have Ferro Lad front and centre in a commission.

As you can see we deviated from Heubert's original pencils but I think it gives a more retro Silver Age, Adventure - era vibe.
