Back in the late '70's John Byrne started on this cover for, if memory serves me, an Art of John Byrne book. He abandoned this and went for something else.

This is simply insane !!! What a beautiful work of art by the master when absolutely no one came close to his genius. This is a great proof why ! Thanks for sharing such a treasure !
