Description

Knowing Jim was invited to the 2013 edition of the Angouleme festival, I had contacted him about some original art. When I arrived at the booth for some signatures, Jim recognized my name and offered to do a commission at his hotel during the evening. Since he only had time for head sketches, I had to go for something graphically interesting and Venom suited the bill in my pool of favorite characters :)

I just told Jim to go wild with him (meaning teeth and tonge) and I'm delighted with the result :)

I wanted to thank Jim for offering the opportunity and taking the time off the deserved rest or party time to do this. It means a lot to me as he is one of my favorite artists :)

Amusing note: when Gabriele Dell'Otto saw the piece being handed to me, he grabed it saying it was nice and from now on, his. We fought, I won ;)
