Description

This is the opening splash page of the (yet again) new Thor serie by Olivier Coipel and Mark Morales. A great splash featuring the Silver Surfer contemplating the wrongs of our world. This takes us back to his very first serie drawn by Buscema in terms of emotions. Now Oliver has surpassed even his previous Thor work on this first issue and this shows why. Even though the Surfer is seen from behind, this is simply spectacular :)

An unbeliveably powerful, gracefully savage, tragically heroic piece of symphonic artistry. A brutally cosmic, transcendantly human moment. Olivier's finest single illustration? That is the question.
