I am a pretty big fan of Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins' work on the Flash and I had hoped to see Scott at a show sometime. I've been going to shows for years and it never happened. Last fall, I got in touch with Scott via his forum and set up a commission: Flash(es) versus the Rogues in the Flash Museum. He said it would take a little bit but he was happy to do it. Flashforward a little bit and a prelim image popped up into my inbox. Really liked the prelim. Flashforward a few weeks after that and this image arrived in my inbox and I just received the piece today!!

I love it!! Scott's pencil work is fantastic and his attention detail really jumps out at me. Look at the speedlines, Cold's parka, the Cosmic Treadmill; everything is completely rendered! Love the composition of the piece, too. Complete bonus for the shot of Grodd in the background and the Blue Lantern Ring making an appearance. Scott's work on Blackest Night: Flash prompted me to ask for a blue ring and Scott delivered. I couldn't be happoer with this piece. I don't use the term lightly but this Flash fan: grail!

Josh, Very nice piece. Yours is just as good as mine. I was thinking about a battle scene similar to yours but felt it would be too much. Yours did turn out great.

That's a great piece. I've got to save up and get a commission from Scott because he's just a fantastic artist and I've been a fan of his for years.
