Description

Original William Stout pen drawing (on 11" x 8.5" heavy card stock), signed lower left by the artist. This is a scene from the notorious Spider Pit Sequence from King Kong, the most sought after bit of missing film in cinema history. Stout used a Mario Larringa production drawing as his guide. This drawing was recently published in Stout's Tribute to Willis O'Brien book.
