Description(1993) (Kitchen Sink Press) In the memorable and rather infamous Cherry Poptart tale from "Cherry's Jubilee #3" titled: "The Uncommon XXX-Men vs. The Testosterone Titans", pages 2 & 3 perfectly exemplifies the psyche of the most passionate of comic book collectors which in this story, just happens to be Cherry Poptart's boyfriend of the moment, Ned Mylar. As one will discover while reading through this specific "PAGE 2" they will clearly see in both the “Text and in the Art itself,” a multitude of homages to some of the comic industry's greatest creators and their creations. Because of the incredibly imaginative way that Cherry’s Creator and Artist, Larry Welz & quintessential Comics Book Industry Guest Writer, Marv Wolfman chose to pay tribute to these artistic legends; since buying this page from Larry Welz himself at "The 1993-Comic Fest" in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I have spent the better part of the last 25-Years getting "EVERY" surviving comic book icon that is referenced to autograph this "PAGE 2!!!" In fact, my final signature was finally gotten by the Giant-Size Man-Thing’s Co-Creator, Gerry Conway at “The 2019-Camden Comic-Con” on the campus of Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey held on April 27th. From left to right, one will see the signatures of: JIM STERANKO, KLAUS JANSON, MARC SILVESTRI, FRANK MILLER, GERRY CONWAY, TODD McFARLANE, ROY THOMAS, MARV WOLFMAN, LARRY WELZ, DAN FOGEL, and STAN LEE. Love these two cosmic Cherry pages, especially the effort you put in to adding many signatures for Marvel legends!
