DescriptionThese are two of my favorite characters from the Utena anime. The Shadow Girls, of which there are five, often provide weird symbolist shadow play commentaries about the events of the episodes as a kind of intermission. In the movie, these two, E-Ko and F-Ko, are school radio news hosts, and there's actually an entire news studio of Shadow Girls.Their role in the Utena movie ascends them to a status where they're actually helping Utena and Anthy escape to the outside world.
