Description

It's not every day that I get to purchase a page from one of my favorite comics, and probably the best superhero comic I have ever read. The interesting elements to the Spider-Man mythos that Straczynski brought into the title have been mostly forgotten, but even so, this is still an intense tale with him being confronted by an unstoppable and terrifying force and being forced to go to the limits of his endurance and in the end come out on top, becuase he is not just a brawler, but a scientist as well. Romita Jr. is truly destined to draw superhero comics, especially fight scenes with heroes and villains whaling on each other, ones with stuff breaking apart to bits and Spider-Man somewhere in the middle of it. This is very close to a Grail for me.

UPDATE 30/03/2015 - at this year's London Super Comic Con I was fortunate to meet the master, and he signed this page. Framing it will be even better now. :)
