Description

Frank Godwin is acknowledged to have having produced some of the most aesthetically pleasing artwork in the history of the medium. His detailed illustrative style was unique in a medium where time and deadlines ruled.

While many are aware of his feature Rusty Riley and examples exist. His most complex and ground breaking feature was Connie. Connie ran from 1927 to 1944. She was a very strong female lead character an action hero of sorts. The most famous sequence was a trip into outer space! This has been reprinted.

As far as I am aware and after 30 plus years of collecting, it appears there are only two known examples. This is one and it is from that famous sequence.
