Description

Hugo Pratt�s assistant Lele (Rafaele) Vianello got permission to create a semi-official Corto Maltese story. The hero in Il Millantatore, published in the Italian Corto Maltese magazine 9/1987 (and the French Corto magazine 16), is a nameless young lad who is obviously Corto. He experiences the Boxer Rebellion in Beijing, China in 1900. The story is also published in an Italian album called Il Millantatore. Vianello is still creating comic stories in a graphic style very reminiscent of Pratt. Unfortunately, these recent stories are only published in Italy as far as I know.
