Description

Another of these classic strips that would need to be republished!

Le Vieux Nick et Barbe-Noire depicts the eternal fight between the hero (the rather improbable old sailor Nick) and his arch-nemesis, pirate Barbe-Noire (who, despite being highly ridiculous, quickly becomes the real star of the strip, notably through his highly ingenious - but always doomed to failure! - plans...).

In this 2-page spread beautifully composed by Marcel Remacle, he has (apparently) reformed, but still displays his taste for complicated schemes with his sedan-chair team in training!
