DescriptionAs long as Charlier wrote the Young Blueberry stories, they connected well with the main series in my view. This page depicts an infamous episode during the American Civil War: The Bushwackers´ attack on Lawrence, Kansas in August 1863. In Charlier´s and Wilson´s story, the young Blueberry manages to save the Jayhawker leader Jim Lane´s life. Colin Wilson not only tried to emulate Giraud´s style in this album, he also used Giraud´s characteristic (at this time period) large-scale art boards.Social/Sharing |

He really was trying to emulate Giraud's style in this one. Not a bad job as well.
