When I first read this issue of Ulitmate Spider-man, I had anticipated the return of Venom, but never had I expected that the first appearance of the Ultimate Venom costume was going to be by Peter! When I turned the pages of the comic and came upon this page I got chills, this was the Mark Bagley Venom I hadn't seen in almost 10 years! It's one of the biggest Venom splashes I've ever seen by Bagley as well. The last panel with a desperate Peter realizing what the suit is doing to him is priceless.

Here's a direct quote from Bagley in Wizard magazine about these pages:
"The scene where Peter almost turns into Venom and nearly bites that guy's head off was a lot of fun to do. I channeled every Venom-like image. It's the psychological stuff that's a lot of fun to do."

Thanks guys! Had this for almost 8 years, glad I finally got to share it. Unfortunately it's my last Venom piece...for now. Always looking for more! :)
