Godzilla vs. a Shogun Warrior vs. King Kong
How can that -not- be awesome?

This one actually came about by mistake. I wasn't paying attention and over paid Kevin for the Easter Island piece. He was happy :) and, in the end, after we talked we decided he'd tackle something else I'd had in mind. With respect to Herb Trimpe, as cool as his cover to Godzilla #11 was it just seemed like it was missing something. I talked it over with Kevin and what we came up with was a more Hanna-Barbara approach to it. Big G looks just great here (Kevin always does a great job with monsters) as does Yetigar (Marvels' King Kong) and Red Ronin (Marvel's own Shogun Warrior). I might need to hit up the incomparable Chris Ivy to help finish the transformation of this one into a "proper" cover.

I love this Kevin! I loved Marvel's giant bigfoot Yetrigar! I have been wanting to get some type of commission with Red Ronin myself. What a great 3 way battle!
