Description

A very cool piece as the Good Doctor views not the Book of the Vishanti, but the updated iPad of the Vishanti, the Tablet of Raggador. Pretty cool idea, I thought. Also, this was done for a birthday since you can read the words 'happy birthday' in the lines of his cape. I thought that was a particularly cool touch as it harkens back to the days of Jim Sterenko and Barry Smith (before the Windsor) where they would hide messages in the details. It's still done, of course, but never so well as with the late 60's/early 70's art. I think Donny Tran does an excellent job here of blending the words in with the scenery. A very excellent piece that I was extremely fortunate to get.
