DescriptionBatman looks to me like a character who is flexible enough to be reinvented by a thousand different creators and still be the same! An endless well of powerful stories and art!Case in point, the great Batman/Dracula arc by the team of Doug Moench and Kelley Jones, whose Wrightson-like atmosphere I have always loved. The angel statue in the woody graveyard on the final panel is a sheer wonder! Inker Malcolm Jones III obviously deserves applause here, as well! Oh, and by the way, there is a nice little bonus sketch to be found on the back of this page (see image below)! Social/Sharing |
