DescriptionIt took me literally decades to add a Kirby / Sinnott FF page to my collection - timing, other priorities, availability, et al got in the way. I do remember a while back they just never seemed to pop up which has changed as prices have escalated.In any case, I saw this page go up for sale in October 2013 at what felt like a reasonable price but I didn't feel good about spending the cash so saw it get snatched up inside 48 hours. Fortunately, I was offered the page in trade the next month - and worked out a deal which secured the page without the guilt...although I will miss the art traded. So why this page? The Thing is my favorite FF team member - and this is a "It's Clobberin' Time!" page - I have not counted the Kirby-Sinnott FF pages with this tagline but I imagine there are not enough - and a twice up while nicer would be quite a bit pricier. Finally, in addition to the action that goes with the tagline, there is fun dialogue, everyone but Johnny (even his name is in the last panel), Crystal looking sweet in the last panel - and it is from the 100th anniversary issue. Love the fact that you can have a win-win trade in this hobby... Social/Sharing |

What an extraordinary action-packed Kirby FF page...Gotta love the Thing in classic 'battle and banter' with his trademark "It's Clobberin' time" line as only Kirby can deliver! Truly a gem, Bravo Mark!!

Nice example for sure- Art from a Key Silver age book. Rare to have the Thing's war cry panel ( only seen a few other examples ). Plus thing in action in almost every panel!! Congrats ! I think a great page is a great page- twice-up's are over rated in my book. don't get hung up on size.

Supreme example from Kirbys last year on the FF and there's really much to clobber in this great anniversary all villain issue ! Let us make a FF 100 club page in CAF ! The King still rules !

Every Thing fans dream! A Kirby/Sinnott page featuring Ben shouting his battle cry, "It's Clobberin' Time!" But for me part of the joy that was Ben was his trash talk leading to that cry and the dialogue on this page does not disappoint. Great stuff.
