I can't say I'm not delighted with the final result, but obtaining this commission has definitely been a pain in the ass.
I can understand artists being artists, but after three years of waiting (and after payment had been made) and keeping in touch with Kent, who kept saying "It's done", I had to go and have a heart-to-heart with Allen Spiegel at San Diego Int'l to made my displeasure known: he called Kent and asked if he had the commission with him. Kent swore he did, but smart money (the same that paid for a color piece three years before) says that he did it at the airport before hopping on his flight.
This said, let me reiterate that I love this piece!
