Description

The original cover that inspired this is a personal favorite of mine.I remember grabbing this cover off the rack with excitement as a kid. I had read the previous issue of Team-Up featuring Spiderman & The Valkyrie and expected to see at least one of them fighting on the cover. But adding Dr Strange & The Human Torch to the mix,as their two friends ( who happened to have cool super-powers )just concerned about their disappearance was pretty neat. So, I wanted this cover & the Legion classified mini-series with it's heavily magic theme was the perfect vehicle to spotlight it.

Kinetix has fallen to the power of Dormammu but Sun Boy & The Scarlet Witch are there to save the day. In my mind, this is where the all out battle that was featured in the "Worlds Collide " story fits in. Dragonmage & Tyroc have not been forgotten and still have a vital role to play.

Again the cover is a combination of the magic that is Peter Temple, Chris ivy & Russ Payne.

I remember pulling that MTU off the rack too Aidan. One of those few to feature the Human Torch and not Spidey. Nice choice for a homage. Once again, Peter,Chris and Russ delivered the goods.

Thanks for the kind words..The Human Torch ones were fun but I think this one and The Son of Satan Team Up were among my favorites
