Description

A great splash page by Jim Cheung on his signature serie: Young Avengers.

Jim did amazing work on the first mini serie but he elevated (or alrady had elevated one could say) his art to another level with Children's Crusade.

This splahs sums up the serie for me which was about Dr Doom discovering Wanda's whereabouts before everyone else and tried to use her to his advantage.

Jim's rendition of Doom is simply perfect, king like and menacing with a stare that would freeze hell. Wanda is very vulnerable which suits her reintroduction in the Marvel Universe perfectly after what she did in House of M.
