No CAF birthday party of mine would be complete without a new Pearson piece :
)
This is Jason’s contribution to the fantastic Pitt trading card set which was full of original art created for it.

I absolutely love this piece. Jason’s rendition of Pitt is ultra badass, very stylish. The inks are super sharp and full of cross hatching, a style Jason would use more frequently later in his career. The fact that Pitt’s figure is bathed in shadow makes it even more menacing as does his smile. His style was blockier then but already exceptional.

I’ve had this for some time and eye balled even longer. As it dropped from the radar for a long time, I had to track it down in order to purchase it. Good thing I have a good memory ;)

Hope you like it as it is always a struggle for me to choose a new Pearson piece to show to the world.

Nice!! I, too, was tracking this piece and always wondered where it ended up. Shoulda figured you'd get it. Happy Birthday, Fred!
